Telesales Agent

Salary: £14,000 – £15,500 Plus On Target Commission

Thanks to the continued success and growth of the TIO Cleanse team we are now looking to expand even more.

Your role is to make outbound calls in order to generate opportunities for our internal sales team. The sales team will then quote the customer on their business insurance needs, ultimately aiming to sell a policy to the client who will then become an Insurance Octopus customer.

This is a telesales role which is 100% outbound.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • To gather renewal dates from customers.
  • To generate a minimum of 1 lead per day (customer’s insurance is due within 30 days).
  • Meet KPI targets include number of dials and talk time.
  • Manage your own pipeline – scheduling call backs & continuously building and developing your pipeline.
  • Qualifying your cleansed records – ensuring you have asked all qualifying/fact finding questions.
  • Quality – you must ensure that you aim to provide the best level of a quality service to the customer.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

  • You must have the ability to objection handle, probe & fact find.
  • Well organised
  • Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Package (Word, ExCel and Outlook)
  • Some previous telesales or customer service experience is not essential but would be an advantage
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Telesales Executive / Lead Generator

Salary: £16,000 basic – (£22,000+ OTE) + Uncapped Commission + Additional benefits
