The environment agency are giving warnings that the bad weather is set to continue across the UK with many starting the recovery process from already flooding and power disruption. Wind speeds are expected at 90mph across Northern Ireland and western Scotland with further warnings of up to 20cm of snow expected in parts of Scotland.
With flood warnings in the south west the environment agency have announced there are a number of rivers in Somerset and Devon that could flood including the rivers Yeo, Tamar, Brue, Torridge, Teign and Axe. Whilst in Wales the fire service in Cardiff has been pumping water from water logged streets. Rail commuters across the country will also experience delays with the strong winds and heavy rains bringing flooding and debris onto the train lines.
